Another new member

Hey everybody!
Well, it all started out with us drivin out to buy twelve Barred Rock chicks, at two weeks old. After finally putting them in their new coop, and hoping to be relieved of some worrying knowing that they were safe in a coop designed for chickens instead of a wire dog pen, we came out the next morning to find seven checks missing!

With five left, two disappeared over the next few nights AGAIN, despite the fact that we moved the coop into our fenced backyard.
With three left, the chicks aged about a month, we went and bought one bantam roo, and two bantam hens, along with two more week old Barred Rock chicks.
I found this forum off of the COTH forum and figured, as a first time chicken owner, I would need as much advice as possible

Hmmm....where do you live? What sort of predators do you have near you, snakes ect? How large are the holes in your mesh? What type of coop do you have? One with a built-in run?

I hope that you get o the bottom of this one, Ive only had my girls for 6 weeks but Id be devistated if they were to go missing.
