Hello everyone! I am new to chickens, although lots of prior experience with ornamental birds. Seven weeks ago we purchased our first supposedly-sexed pullets from Western Ranch; two Easter Eggers and a BCM. One thing I have learned in my short time here on BYC is that EEs are hard to sex! I am hoping for some expert input on one of the EEs I have. S(he) is ~7 weeks old. No obviously red comb yet, but those shoulder feathers have just cropped up... We are not allowed roosters in our town so I am worried about this one. Any input gratefully appreciated!

Hooray! Thank you!!! In the interests of learning more, can I ask what specific features make you sure it's a pullet, or which feature/s is most important? I had read that appearance of red/rust-colored feathers on the shoulders in EEs were strong indicators of being males. Are these ones that are just appearing in the wrong place (too caudal/ventral?).
