another Newbie

I am so glad to be on this site! I've had chickens for about 6 years. I have nine hens right now. five rir, 3 buffs and one black orpington. We have five children one is married and lives in Illinois. I have two grandchildren. I have a daughter serving a mission for our church in the Philippines. She will be home in September. My husband is a CPA and currently self employed. I have a 16' X 24 ' greenhouse that we got for "free". It was from a high school that was being torn down. We took it apart piece by piece and put it back up on our 3/4 of an acre here in Washington state. I have a large garden and now plan to add a couple more since we cleared away some brush last fall. I enjoy wood carving, knitting, baking, sewing, gardening, soapmakinganything to do with farming, and am taking up beekeepping this year.
