My next endeaver was to sex these by brightness of that orange ring in the eyes. I was thinking maybe the two with the bright orange rings might be males, and the ones with the muted orange rings would be females. So far, #1 bright eye is a cockerel. He is not pictured here. The next one with bright eyes is picture #1 here. I'm still waiting. The other 2 are muted rings.
This also means that more pointy eggs vs. rounded eggs ended up being squat, still 50/50. The poofs are no help because they all have different poofs and it didn't mean squat. But the unpictured one was noted to have spikes coming thru his nice round poof feathers and saddle feathers.
They were all "wing sexed" on day one and that turned out to be squat as well. I guess you need wing sexable birds for that. Will update.
A few weeks ago only number 1 looked like a roo. Here is all three again, they are 8 weeks old. Verthandi, note the eye color, LOL. They all appear to have spikes coming thru. Which means that out of 4 hatched polish, all 4 are boys
