another pumpkin question

Have been reading the questions, but didn't see if you feed them the seeds and all the inners too? Newbi here and don't want to do any thing wrong. One of my hens just started to lay, the other 3 are just "free loading!" for now---

Cut? What is this Cut? I just toss it down in the driveway and it smashes.

I'm lazy. But yes, they eat everything except the outer skin.

I tossed a small one in today, whole. It didn't break. They pecked away at it. There's a bit left for them to "discover" tomorrow morning.

The insides and seeds are delicious, so I hear.

I crack them in half and put them in. They eat the whole thing if they are bored. Usually they leave me the rind or skin to take out of the coop the next day.
