ANother question? blood on the beak?

I notice a little beak sticking out where another chick has pipped. Just a little smidgeing of blood there as well. Is that normal?

Occasionally a chick will pip through a vein. It may cause only minor bleeding, or enough for a chick to bleed out. Hopefully your little one just caused a little bit of blood loss.
