I have two 7 week old chicks that I’m having a hard time determining sex. They both have different combs than the rest of my flock. The combs aren’t as red as the single combed cockerels so I’m on the fence (and really hoping they’re hens).

The black one has bigger waddles and thicker legs so I’m definitely leaning towards cockerel.

This one has slender legs and no waddles. A3E00BF7-B4B3-4DD2-833F-1BEA226A2CD2.jpeg C813F0DB-6BEF-4198-8B35-D572FFC566C6.jpeg

I’d love your opinions.

2 seem to be rooster. But I would not rehome them or cull them just because everyone said they were rooster lots of people can make mistakes so I would wait for the second one. Than I would decide.

Well, you guys are NOT telling me what I wanted to hear :p:lau. The black one is the only feather footed guy I hatched and the other is so dainty and pretty!

I appreciate you taking the time to help :)
