Is it possible to breed sexlinks of any color using a New Hampshire or any red hen for that matter? I know Red roos are part of the recipe but does it work the other way too? If so what kind of roo would you breed to them?

I don't think so.
They do however use New Hampshire hens crossed with a White Plymouth Rock rooster to produce the Amber Link chicken. Mostly a white chicken that has red overtones on them. Very pretty chicken. I raised some that looked like the Amberlink last year but I used the White Plymouth Rock rooster over Red Sexlink hens, I got a big variety of colors.
