Another sick chicken

There's a possibility, unless the flock is low on calcium. How old are your hens? Have there been any odd poos lately?
The RIR that died last week was 5 years old but she still has two health thriving sisters. This Barred Rock is about a 1 1/2 years old. I’ll have to watch for the poo, they free range all day, but I’ll check their house/ run where they sleep

Older hens are more prone to reproductive issues. Probiotics are always good to provide and can help maintain good health. Providing calcium such as crushed oyster shells or feeding the girls back their egg shells is a great way to supplement calcium. As for the egg binding, here's a good article on the subject:
