The one Goldenhtr made is a better design.

The one on the link would allow too much air to move through it making the birds get too much wind. Chickens do better with a shelter in the back and the front more open. Then they can get out of the wind. They don't mind the rain so much but chickens get in bad shape if exposed to wind or drafts.

They both would be pretty easy to adapt to the need of the owner. If its very hot the full ventilation would be nice for my birds. It could also be turned, it is a tractor, to block wind as necessary. Thats the beauty of both of them!~

My latest coop is designed like this, I used two 4x8 sheets of plywood on each side, and just wired the two triangular sides. I turned it to block the wind, and I'll have to close in most of the wire sides for winter, but it provides much needed shade for the birds during the summer (no trees around here, yet) and plenty of ventilation to keep things from getting stuffy.
