I've mentioned before that my neighbor's dog was getting into the coop and pooping (the "kids" were not in at the time).
I leave the door open when the kids are in the big pen so that it can air out a little more. This is how the dog would get in. Now, I put a baby gate across the doorway. 3'gate + threshold 1'off ground = no more poop.
I'd really like for the dog to stay at home, but the neighbors know this and haven't really done anything about it. So, since they're good neighbors in most other ways, I take measures.
