Hi all,
Ok I was dumb. I bought my carefully selected mix of chicks online. I searched for months for the ones that are reputed to be quiet and docile. One died so I went to TSC to replace. After five months of selecting and preparing for the six chicks I wanted all it took was one visit to TSC and about five seconds for me to make a bad decision. In addition to the pullet replacement I decided that I would just grab a bantam and get lucky on the sex. The voice in my head said that I shouldn't but I did it anyway. I know it is a boy. Or at least I think I know it is a boy. The funny thing is that it is the most docile and quiet of all the chicks (go figure). So I know I was dumb for buying it but is it for sure a boy and out of curiosity what do you think it is? Sorry for the bad pictures but I couldn't get the pictures from my camera to be be accepted at this site.
The chick is 4 weeks old I believe. It was jet black when I purchased it.
Thanks.
