In the Brooder
Hi everyone,
My 5 months old Silkie had a wry neck when she was around 2 months, and here we go again, I woke up 3 days ago and noticed her neck was starting to twist a little bit and 2 days ago it was definitely a wry neck again.
When she was 2 months old, I treated her with vit E + selenium and I saw a huge improvement in the next 48 hours - she was able to eat and drink by herself, and just had some "crisis" sometimes (mainly when she woke up and at bed time). But this time, at 5 months old, I've been giving her vit E + selenium, with mixed tuna/egg, she's at home almost all day long under good care and I feel like she's not getting better, she can't really drink nor eat by herself cause she keeps trying to get her head straight.
Also, I gave away all the cockerels a few weeks ago, could it have caused excessive stress?
I love her so much, I'll do everything I can!
What should I do to make sure she gets better? Any advice is more than welcome!
