This may be a very dumb question, but I have to ask! We had one sick chicken (hen with some bubbles in eye and some coughing, but eating fine and acting fine) and I put a small dose of LA200 in the coops drinking water for 3 days ( by small dose I mean like 2 ml in 3 gallons.. not enough, I know, but first time treating this and I was super unsure..), then changed it to fresh, plain water after 3 days.
A day or 2 after the fresh water, I fed the sick hen a small piece of bread soaked in a dose of the antibiotic, and 3 days later, her symptoms were gone and none others have showed any symptoms.
We read that it is best not to eat the eggs of chickens treated with antibiotics in case person has a reaction to the medicine, which makes sense. So here is my question- We have collected 30+ eggs in the week of treatment and I am dreading throwing them away
...all of the eggs are from hens that drank the water with the super low dose, not the sick hen... would there be any problems with incubating and hatching the eggs??
