I posted about my duck a few days ago.. I suspect a broken toe. Her left side overall feels warmer than the right, and seems a little worse despite topical abx and epsom salt compresses. I went to the feed store and bought some duramycin. I think the most accurate way to give it to her is to just measure the amount she is actually supposed to consume, and sprinkle that over some peas. She'll devour every last speck within seconds! I'm frustrated because the directions (well, for one there's no duck specific instructions) all say mixed in drinking water, which would be about the most inaccurate way I can think of to dose *one* duck
Does anyone know approx how much she should have? I'm thinking whatever is an appropriate daily amount, cut it in half and give it twice a day.
She hatched this past easter. My untrained eye suspects full grown (or at least, very close to full grown) I'm told by the person I got hatching eggs from that their drake is cayuga, and I think mama duck is a magpie.
