Ants and Bugs

I live in Buda, TX and my girls have a lot of ants and flies in their coop. What pesticide can I use to get rid of them? Also, I have scorpions and we usually dust around the house with some sort of scorpion killer. Any suggestions on what I can use? The girls love to eat bugs around the house and I don't want to cause them any harm. I love my chickens.
