Ants, ants, ants!

Forgive me if I'm doing this all wrong but I've never posted in a forum before. I have 8 free range BSL's that are only put in the coop at night. I also have a terrible infestation of Ants in my back yard. I have treated my front yard with ant poison but not the back yard. I do know I cant put poison out with them. Is there anything that I can put out to treat the ants that is safe for my girls?! They just dont eat the ants quick enough

Really? I thought it wasn't. Have you used this successfully with treating ants around your birds? How did you use it? Spray directly on mounds or all over yard?

Welcome to BYC! agree with kiki, i would use permetherin. And yes you put this in the right forum.

Yes.
You can even spray it right on your birds if the ants are attacking them.

I use a large sprayer like this:

That will work too ..just read the label for the mixture amounts. It's on there.
