Ants in our duck pen

Are they going to be eaten alive? I live in south Florida and after it rains the ants are terrible and pop up everywhere. The chickens go in their run daily so I'm assuming the ants aren't as bad in there... will the ducks be ok (6 wk pekins) The pen is still under construction... they're just out of swim time. is there anything natural I can put down? Thanks in advance!

I wonder if while the ducks are out for swim time if you could sprinkle poultry dust over your pea gravel? It has permethrin In it and its safe to use on poultry.

X2, I think a little bit of poultry dust around the run would do the trick.
