I thought about DE, but I wasn’t sure if that was fine for such little chicks. We've not had them in the coop, but in the house dozens of times. We sprinkle food grade diatomaceous earth around the house and the next day they're done for. It's always worked well. I would get some of that and carefully sprinkle that around her. Be careful not to make it airborne as you don't want her breathing it in.
It's all natural. Just make sure it's food grade. Their feed most likely has it in there already but that's not going to help with the ants. The caution with it is don't make it airborne. Just sprinkle low to the ground. We use it for parrot cages, brooders, our house, and the coop for over 20 years.I thought about DE, but I wasn’t sure if that was fine for such little chicks.
I use it too, I was just unsure with them being so little. Thanks!!!It's all natural. Just make sure it's food grade.
