Ants!!!!!

What can I put out in my chicken run to kill ants????? I am afraid using a pesticide will harm my girls.

Dry grits? How does that work???

DE Diatamatious Earth (SP?) It will kill the ants and it is just silica and your chickens will dust in it and it kills lice and all kinds of little pest

I will try this as well. A bunch of red ants killed my pullet last night, and had it nearly eaten by 7 am this morning!
