Hello all!
I'm a grade 12 student from rural Southwestern Manitoba, Canada, heading off to university to study agroecology in the fall as I have a passion for sustainable agricultural practices and the environment. I was given the opportunity to apply for this agricultural scholarship that could further my education, and I've made it through the first round of selection! Now, it's up to the public to help me out - my submission needs votes! Earning this scholarship not only provides some funding for my tuition, but it also provides funding for my school!
If you'd like to help me out, just click this link and press the heart to cast a vote (voting ends on May 14)

I know this isn't a typical post found here, but my submission is regarding the usage of native plant species for enhanced crop production and greater environmental sustainability, and have chickens myself which is why I'm a BYC community member, so I thought that this was a suiting place to post. There's no obligation to vote, but I'd really appreciate it, and if you could further share this with whoever you can (your grandma, your neighbour, your brother in law, anybody!) that would be incredible! Thank you all in advance!
