Going to get 2 Barred Rock, 2 Rhode Island Red and 2 Ameraucana. These will be our first birds ever and the family is all excited to be getting chickens and eggs. I built my coop using my kids old playhouse, that they quit using 2 years ago. We are going to add some plexiglass windows and build a lower run. Any advice or flaws in the design that would help me out.

I couldn't tell by your pictures, but make sure they have ventilation.

I see windows (ventilation). Looks great. I don't think my grandson will let me use his fort. LOL

There is eave ventalation in the front and the back, in addition we will be cutting windows out, with screening in the summer and plexiglass in the fall/winter

Looks great! Maybe have a lip around the entrance to keep in the bedding. I can't tell but can you reach the whole coop from the clean out door? Good job!

Great job using something that most would have hauled to the dump.
