No there will be about 50 birds, and its not a very good SHOW. There was one in rising sun(spring), and there is a big one in Harrington, De(fall and spring)

Where you at in Cecil county? more of us are popping up here. Elkton here.

Hi,
The biggest show in Maryland is the MSPFA(maryland state poultry fanciers assocation) other then that and the one in rising sun; your only chocie is local fairs.

Howard County Fair, its usually the first wek in August. Pick the day(s) to go so you can meet the people showing their poultry. Go on the day that poultry are judged. You'll get to meet some great folks, some sell their stock. All are very friendly and gladly talk chicken. There were 50-60 breeds of poultry two years ago, and that show is growing.

There is also a York Poultry Show in York, PA. Google York county fairgrounds. it's an annual show, 200+ breeds of poultry.

Google the Howard County Maryland Fairgrounds schedule, don't trust my memory.
