Any Clues To what Killed my flock of 5?

the only time my Maremma's bark is when they are supposed to.
you have to listen to them.
their job is to bark.
If one or the other of mine decides to bark all night, I sleep all the better knowing it is doing it's job.
sometimes they can hear a coyote that you can't hear.. as long as they bark, the unwanted animals stay away..

Was a different situation here that day....My Dogs are always out..Only time in is at feeding and at night when birds are in..I understand the Maremma breed...My Dogs are fantastic it was my slip up that cost me two chicks..My Golden Retriever/ Aussie found my Call Drake in the Bush and herded him home..My Yorkie that is my nightly Chicken wrangler is who attacked the Fox as it ran off with the one Chick..I have 5 Dogs....

sounds like you have a dog for every purpose.
right now I have 9 dogs.
but the number is gradually getting less.
