my best friends cousin collects coins and wait for them to be worth more than what they actually are.

Not more than passively. I'll keep old ones that come into my hands. Have some silver quarters, a few bicentennials, a couple of very well-circulated mercury dimes, some silver dollars, Kennedy halfs, a buffalo nickle or two, and numerous wheat pennies. Some Sacajawea dollars too. Nothing rare or high value, but not commonly circulated any more. I have a couple of 2 dollar bills and a 2 dollar silver certificate as well.

I wanted to get some of those glow-in-the-dark loonies the Canadian mint issued a few years back for the novelty aspect, but they sold out quickly.


I wish our currency was visually more appealing. Greenbacks suck.

Yes, he has a lot of really neat and valuable ones. I was into coin collecting several years ago, but now I'm not as into it. Maybe I should start collecting again!

You should its a great hobby and coins and bullion hold there greatly or increase And bullion like precious metals. I collect error coins bullion and rare coins I love studying them ur grandpa sounds like a pretty cool one.
