Does anyone have a coincidence about their chickens?

I got my first chickens in 2017, and guess what chinese zodiac it was?
Year of the Rooster.

I don't know if this counts but I got my first batch of chicks on valentine's day

This is a sad one, but the first chicken I ever got (and inspired my username) passed away on my birthday in 2014.

This isn’t me but every election year my friends would name their birds after all the presidential canidates and coincidentally the bird that ended up becoming the top of the pecking order happened to be the candidate that won.

My new rule:
Never name a chick a girl name.
We have had one chick with a girl name turn out to be a girl. Ever. In 13 years of chickens.
Most recent batch: Ottilie, and Meg, roosters. The only chicks with gender based names.
Is it a coincidence?
