The first 2 pictures was when he/she was just a day or two old. He/she is now 4 weeks old so I took new pics today.

I definately think it's a barnyard mix but just wasnt sure if it could be determined on any specific breeds that it may be crossed with. We are actually hoping it is a cockerel; he is already so pretty!
With cockerels, their combs grow faster than the pullets, right? Do they feather faster, too?

They don't necessarily feather faster but their hackle and saddle feathers will be different. But the combs and wattles come in much earlier on cockerels
