Anybody wanna throw a guess out there as to this chick?? Just hatched last night!!

I'm sooooo excited....got 5 more eggs waiting to hatch!!

I also ordered 2 EE's from a hatchery. One arrived dead, sadly. The one who survived does not have green legs. They are brown. Should I be concerned? Here's a few pictures:

EEs are basically mutts, and can have any color legs--We LIKE to see slate or green legs, but it isn't really indicitive of anything.

As for the eggs you hatched, it depends on where you got them from.

Your chick looks like my Ameraucana chicks. Here's some pics of them as babies.

The darker chick is now black, and the lighter chick is a beautiful light blue.

Oh! Yours are beautiful! I note you say in the post "here they are as chicks"....are they grown now? I'm soooooooo excited!!!! With all of the talk on this forum about Ameraucana's, I really wanted one bad! I ordered 6 eggs, they sent 7. Due to hatch out tomorrow, just got one that hatched last night (early). Hoping I get a few more to hatch.....

Thanks for the compliments. Mine are 6 weeks old now, just little guys. Here's a more recent photo. Sadly, I think my black is a roo. I got mine as chicks from Whitmore Farm. Good luck in your hatch!
