Any guesses?

I know that Polish chicks are notoriously hard to sex, but thought I would see if anyone out there could give a good guess anyway. I think these 2 are about 8 wks old. The GL has always been considerably larger than the SL. The GL has always had much longer tail feathers too. I am leaning toward the GL being a pullet and the SL being a roo. The SL looks like it may be getting a little red on its face. I know it will be at while before I know for sure but I am addicted to trying to figure it out.
Here are some pics I took. Not the best, but getting them to stay still long enough is an issue.

from the crest feathers I'd say both are roos, but as you said they can be hard to tell can you get a good side shot of the face?

Actually I think you are right. I just went and took a closer look at the GL and it looks like it has some red wattles starting too. UGH!
