I purchased call duck eggs off eBay they arrived today, the mail carrier was nice enough to put them on the porch in the shade. I was told by the seller to wait 3 to 4 hours and they put them in the incubator. My husband has hatched out calls before but super nervous about these..... Suggestions ?

Candle them and check the air cells... Calls are super hard to hatch, especially shipped... also, depending on quality of the Calls...

Condition of the air cells needs to be known before the best way to proceed with them might be...

Will candle them before putting them in incubator

Call eggs do not do well in upright turners, best to lay them on their sides if possible... most in upright turners the whole incubation time end up quitting at lockdown and not hatching...

If air cells are badly damaged, a few days in an upright turner until development shows is best, but they should be layed down after that...
