any help on integrating one day olds with one week olds?

I did this. Had some week old Easter Eggers, and got some day old Buff Opringtons. I moved the bigger chicks out of the brooder into a box and moved their feeder and watered around and changed the bedding, then put the little chicks in the brooder and put the larger ones back in the brooder. The bigger ones were so worried about being out of the brooder in the box, the new bedding to dig, fresh food,etc that they barely noticed the little ones. For a day or two they would sometimes pick at someone on their back and I heard two spats one time but nothing major. They happily still live together at 5 and 6 weeks old.
