Any hope of egg with tiny piece of shell missing hatching?

Just interested if anyone has had this happen. After one of my chicks hatched, her shell got stuck to another egg. When i went to toss her shell i realized it was stuck to the other egg in the incubator. tried so gently to get it off and tiny piece of shell came with it. the membrane is still bright white, completely intact, no smells or oozing. Will this one have a chance?

i say, as long as the membrane is still complete then you should be good to go

I would put a piece of tape over the hole so that it dont dry out.

tape sounds good.
i've heard and seen video of ones that hatch completly ONLY with membrane, no egg...as a school project. and they were completly fine. so, i think if its just a tiny spot, the little guy/gal has the best of chance

She hatched about 4-5 days later and is great!
