Yes, a silkie chick would do great with him! My silkie chicks are much calmer than my other chicks...not sure why, but their temperment is more laid back. Keep us posted!!!

I had a meat bird who's leg must have gotten broken somewhere along the line when she was little and it twisted backward. She compensated by using her wings as crutches to get around. Granted she was culled at 8 wks. but none the less she was able to live with a broken legg.
