Any idea of the breed, age or gender?

I was recently given this sweet baby but I don't know anything about her (I hope it's a her) other than she is about a month old. Any idea if what breed, age (is a month about right), and most importantly gender? Thank you!

With those pink legs, she could be a Speckled Sussex. She does look like she is about 4 or 5 weeks old. She looks like a pullet for now.

I should let you know, I'm not certain on breed. She's got juvenile feathering right now. In the next few weeks, if she is a Speckled Sussex, she will start to look more like a dark red bird with black and white flecks. She could also be a Partridge Orpington, but they are not nearly as common as Speckled Sussex. If she is Partridge Orpington, her color and pattern will be pretty similar to what she looks like now.

On it's head it still has chick down and it's chick down is not correct for either a Partridge Orpington or a Speckled Sussex. To me it's coloration looks like an Easter Egger, except it has pink legs. Since it doesn't seem to match up to a description of any breed, it is probably a mixed breed pullet

I agree; it's likely a mixed breed pullet.
