I went to pick up chicks at my local feed store and they gave me these two with my production reds? The lady didn't seem to be sure what breeds. Sorry for the bad pic on the darker one, she was camera shy.

Thanks! In your experience are they good egg layers?They have feathered feet so most likely cochins. Very friendly chickens in my opinion.

Ok! Thank you for the info! I'm excited to see what they look like when they grow up! I wanted some variety in the flockThey are not like the Production Reds, and their eggs will be smaller. Somewhat less eggs as well. They do go broody often , so no eggs during that time. They are EXCELLENT MOTHERS if you wanted to hatch your own chicks. They are docile and friendly. There are exceptions of course, but generally speaking.
