Any idea what breed these 5 week old chicks might be?

Hi. I and my family are new to keeping chickens but very excited to have been given these two sweeties. I've looked online but can't tell what breed they are. We think they're about 5 weeks old, and we're hoping they turn out to be hens as we live in the city and a rooster would not be welcome.

Both are pullets, a bit young to tell 100% on breed.
Could be brown leghorns.

Thanks for the good news on the gender! They're so sweet, I'd hate to have to get rid of them if they turned out to be roosters. All I can find out about the flock they came from is that they were brown, so you might be right on the guess.
