My husband noticed this one hen was not as active as the rest of our flock. Her comb is very pale. The rest of the flock has good coloring, good appetites, just acting normal. We secluded this girl. She hasn't moved since last night. Do I need to worry about the rest? Is there anything I can do for her?

I agree with dawg53 , de-worm her and dust her if you see tiny crawly bugs on her that look kind of like tiny tan fleas. I'd give her some electrolytes, yogurt or scrambled eggs. If she does have worms, I would de-worm the rest of the flock. Remember that there's a withdrawl period on the wormers.

Wow, she looks *very* sick and thin. I would start by bringing her inside and provide a heat source that she can get away from.

Can you take her to a vet? If not, how much effort can you put into trying to save her?

We brought her inside with a heat lamp, but before we could actually do anything for her, she died during the night. Do I need to worry about the rest of my birds?

There was so sign of lice or mites. Not all of them will let someone close enough to catch them, but the ones I was able to check looked okay

Sorry for your loss.

You should put her in the refrigerator (do not freeze), find your State lab if you're in the US and send her off for a necropsy. Many States will do it for free. Where do you live?
