Lookalike my Asian black did as a chick. Where did you get it?

It's fairly common for "black" chicks to start with random white patches of down and feathers then molt them out to be purely black later.

As to what breed you have - others can give you their thoughts on that - but it would be helpful to know where you got it and/or see pictures of parents

I did hatch her myself however the egg came from a friends farm and could be any combo of hens or roosters.
