Any idea what the breed of this sweet girl is?

She is the same age as the other chicks 6-7 weeks old, is smaller than the others and now has sprouted a feather mohawk. She also has feathers on her legs. When I got my chicks i was told they were nh, br, and ee mixes. I also got a pullet from the same farm that looks like a slw. She is super sweet and hyper but obviously not what i was told I have. Soo any ideas?

There's a number of breeds she could be mixed with if she's a hybrid, and that could lead to many color combinations and traits. Obviously, one or both of her parents must have had feathered legs and/or a crest.

If she has five toes, black skin and/or a funky looking walnut-ish comb, silkie is the most likely heritage, but even that's back more than a generation I'd say. What that may be mixed with is really anyone's guess, she's mixed enough no specific breed stands out.

Yeah I gave up on guessing cuz I couldn't figure it out but I'm still learning. So at least I don't feel so bad now. Thank you and we will just call her mutt!
