I don't think you can really know what kind it is until it's feathers start to poke out. it's sooooooo cute though!!

ok here is what I have as far as my chickens,
2 black tailed white japanese bantam hens (this is where the egg came from)
a pair of silver laced OE bantams
1 silver duckwing OE bantam roo
1 barred rock hen

so how do I get something like this from that?

my guess is because I had a red golden pheasant with them for a short while???
do you all think it could be a mixed chicken or do you think it has to be a hybrid?
I did not know it was possible but found after researching that it is. Wish I knew before I put him in there, but he really liked the chickens alot...
maybe too much lol

I have silver duckwing oe and silver laced oe chicks, and one mixed with japanese/silver laced (that one is really cute too). none look like him. Im stumped.

In comparison it's hard to tell, do you think striping looks more like pheasant or duckwing??
