Any ideas about what kind of chickens these are?

I agree, it's silver laced for sure but there's no wyandotte there. If she's "always had bald spots" you might want to check her for mites, etc. Or she may just do better being away from all the other birds. Up her protein a little and see how she does.

I'm pretty sure the two other chickens in her previous home pecked her feathers out on her back, but if they still don't grow back after her molt I'll take her to the vet. (I don't know how to check for mites) I've tried some protein snacks but she won't eat them. Would meal worms be good to give her? Boiled egg yolks?

The teenage girl in the feed store where she was bought said that she was an Americauna, but I've never thought that was right either. No matter -- she's a good girl and lays nice big eggs.

Mealworms and boiled egg would be perfect...I even scramble some up and feed them..they love it
