We just bought property and built a barn after 4 years in a boarding facility so now we must figure out what to do with the poo haha. My ideas were
1. Pile and put lime to break it down
2. Well actually no other ideas...that's why I'm asking you.
What do you do?
TIA 😊

Contact a local farmer to see if they're interested in manure, if the horses mostly eat hay, he could use it for his spring and on garden.

We moved to a property that had gigantic piles of composted horse manure. We have been using it for our garden and fruit trees. The garden is doing absolutely fantastic so if you have a garden you can use it for that. We’re just leaving the rest to continue composting and using it for the garden when we need it.
Ok do I need to use any product to make it compost?

We compost and sell our poop.
Been making much of our feed costs back the last few years.
We finally built bins out of pallets, more organized than a pile. We have regular customers and a waiting list.
