Any ideas on gender or is it too early to tell?

5 week old Buff Orpingtons & Specked Sussex. Told they were all pullets.

They look like pullets to me. Even the first one with a larger looking comb doesn't seem red (in the pic) and no waddles...I feel many of mine went through that "awkward" stage around this age and their combs looked bigger than normal until their head feathers really came in lol.

Agreed. They all look like pullets, though keep an eye on the speckled sussex.

That first pic "Speckled Sussex" is a cockerel. No pullet at 5 weeks would have that much comb development.
