Any ideas on my "redneck" chickens?? several pics

Hi Becky. You are pretty close to me, only around an hour north. They look like game and EE crosses. My uncle used to have birds like that, in Vinton Co., OH. There's a ton of game blood in the counties between you and me and also on down to Huntington. Mix game with a little RIR and a lot of EE, and you have the quintessential redneck chicken

Do you know of any local places to get some chicks? All of the mail order nurseries are backed up or sold out.
I'm looking to get
Buff orps
Ameracaunas
Wyandottes
Marans
maybe a couple of silkies and polish--still researching those 2.

If you know any reasonably close sources, I'd sure appreciate the info!

Sorry, I really don't know of any that have chicks right now. Well, wait, I think Southern States may still be taking orders, because the S.S. across the bridge in WV about 5 minutes from my house had a big shipment come through on its way elsewhere this past week, and a member of my fam said they had a huge truckload of every imaginable kind of poultry. They must have stopped to unload part of the shipment. I believe they get their birds from Mt. Healthy Hatchery in Cincinnati. So, if there's a Southern States up your way, you might check with them.
