Does anyone have any ideas to end my roosters bad behavior before we end him?
His behavior is going to bed late and attacking when we catch our hens also he mates hens 1/4 the size of him

This is what I do when a rooster challenges me. I hang him upside down by his legs and whack his head with my hand a few times. Then I push him to the ground and lift him up and push him down until he goes down submissively. After that, I loving pet him like when they were chicks. I repeat the process whenever he forgets that I am the boss.

I notice they start getting sex crazy about 4 to 5 month old. The Roosters mature before the hens are ready to mate, so it seems like they are trying to rape them. Nature will eventually work things out. The hens will eventually let the rooster do his thing.

If any of my chickens dare to bite me, I set them straight.

Does this not seem a tab bit too aggressive? This seems like it would make him more aggressive since it’s really setting in the idea that you’re a threat to him. I personally would put my hands on his back and force him to lay down on the ground and firmly keep him there for 30 seconds hard enough so that he can’t move but not hard enough to hurt him and with two fingers hold his head to the ground. This is closer to how an actual dominant rooster would make a lower rooster submit to him. About the mating hens 1/4 his size, he’s a rooster he doesn’t care if they are 10 times bigger or smaller as long as he can mate them he will nothing you can really do about that besides seperate the small hens if he’s hurting them.

That's how chickens are, the dominate rooster will attack his rival and keep chasing him even if he submits and he keeps doing it to reinforce his dominance. They don't gently make other roosters submit to them. They beat them up to a bloody pulp.

I just don't keep them. Mean? Off they go to someone that has a larger flock.. and he can be put into place by another rooster.

Some roosters respond to this method, but what do you do if they don't? My method is an advanced method that has quicker results. I've tried both ways.

Glad I dont have roosters 😳 Seems like more trouble than worth, unless you want chicks
Roosters are hit or miss you need a good rooster to have him be worth it some terrorize the hens and do nothing, good roosters treat the hens well and keep a sharp eye for danger and respect you as head hancho.
