I was walking past the chicks and saw this wee chick. I couldn't figure out what it was so I bought it lol! It's the yellow chipmunk marked one in front. Anyone have any ideas?

No. Sure doesn't. It's a very calm chick. As soon as I got home and took it out of the box it was already friendly, relaxed and eating out of my hand. I bought three similar ones and all of them are sweet like this. Here is another pic in bright light

I had never heard of a red cap, but that is the closest thing I've seen to this chick. I'm excited now . Thanks so much y'all for your input! I never would have thought to look at the rarer breeds.

----I missed the dark cornish part. I called and found out that these chicks came from Ideal. I do not see Red Caps listed there, but I do see dark cornish. :) Either way Im happy. Thanks for the input again! Now...here is hoping its a pullet so it stays out of the pot ;)

. Just an update...this was a few days ago. I'm still thinking dark Cornish, but if anyone else thinks different please chime in!

I had been convinced that this bird (that ha been dubbed Raven) was a dark cornish/indian game. Now however, I am not so sure. Or..she is of very poor quality and lacks any type at all, other than comb and dark feathers. The legs are very slender, and BLACK! Tail long. She is able to fly very very well, better than any of my other mixed flock. She is very personable. she will sit on my arm occasionally for a second. she will perch on the arm of a chair by me, and is generally underfoot but does not like to perch on me. Opinions please!

Edit **** here are the pics:
