Any jumpers out there?

The other day we caught Opal our Easter Egger hopping and picking off leaves from her little Japanese Maple and my husband and I were cracking up! I was super excited to get a video tonight!

Chickness, my RIR hen, jumps to grab the mealworm bag if I move too slowly about feeding them to the flock. She jumps straight up off the ground to about knee height and grabs onto the bag. She'll do it over and over until she gets some grub!

For a real show, plant a grape vine in the run, then protect it until the grapes are ripe.....

I have two Hanson Cherry trees right next to the coop. It looks like somebody put a chicken trampoline under that thing! Boing--Brawwwk brawwwk -- boing boing.

That's funny! Mine will go into the fenced in part of our backyard and eat the grapes on our scuppernong vine - it's funny to watch! They are smart about where the free range food is.

Red raspberries. They'll jump 3 to 4 feet & pick the reddest berry.
