Do they make a huge poopy mess every where like chicken's? Is it ok to mix them with goats? Do they get cocci too? I've heard chicken's and goat's don't mix due to cocci. Also my vet said the chicken's will give the goats lice.

A good friend of mine keeps Guineas in his barn with goats and yes, they make a big, huge poopy mess. Of course he never cleans it up either so that is what I see. He has never said anything about illness or lice with his goats/Guineas.

Guineas pretty much only poop on the roost. lol So, yeah...a pile can build up. I scrape my droppings boards daily, so it's not bad. Or roost them over hay/shavings and scoop it out once a week or so.

Is there some advantage to keeping guineas with (Goats)? I have heard of that. Are they particularly better than Chickens or what is the advantage?
