Our township says that 2 have livestock u must have 5 acers and unfrortunetly chickens r considered livestock!!!

any ideas would b apprecheated

Would you have any luck with the "pet" theory? Some consider their chickens pets, rather than livestock. That would be if you were going to have 5 or less, probably.

Have you looked into your zoning? You mentioned township, so I asume your not in town. If your zoned agriculture check into those ordinances. Sometimes they differ from zone to zone. Good Luck.

well i dont think im zoned 4 agriculture (yet i live rite next 2 a dary farm) but thankx ill look into it

I can bet your agriculture then. Check the zoning laws in there once you find out for sure.
