I got 30 from them.(strombergs) Just a few hatched . all the other eggs were clear. I can't seem to get any answers on there email. The chicks are healthy looking BUT VERY SMALL . They will never get in the breeding stock. I really don't think these are A&M's . I think they are just a plain old white quail & a small breed at that. worst hatch this year by far- due to infertal eggs as far as I can see. They will taste good cooked in mushroom soup & rice

Hmmm... I would call if you can't get an answer though email. But I don't think they guarantee their hatching eggs.

hi dls, i bought some from them before and i was not a happy camper at all. i bought 24 quail eggs from them and got 14 of them hatch but all of them died in a process of brooder. and i took all the dead one to my vet doctor, and she told me they got disease on them. so i call them and demand my money back. i would recommadtion to everyone here, please do not buy from them.

ok wait are we talking about Stromberg's in Pine River MN?

I got live chicks from them and was never happier. Ideal I was not pleased with at all. I ordered guinea hatching eggs, and while I know that the hatch rate isnt guaranteed, I am also a very happy repeat customer of Stromberg's.

Live chicks and hatching eggs are two different things. I have gotten Coturnix eggs from them before and had 3 or so chicks hatch out of 18+ eggs.

I got the chickabator from them with 6 eggs i believe and NONE of mine hatched, after inspection of the eggs I found only one that was emryonic and it seemed to be fully ready to hatch but never did. I waited until like day 27 before removing the eggs from the bator. I wasnt sure whether it was the bators fault or not fully but like I said only one egg was fertilized after the inspection. I believe strombergs is better at chicks than eggs. I am glad my farm is small enough that I cant afford the big lots of eggs or I probably would have purchased some. The chickabator is shifty though and I wonder if anyone else has ever used one successfully....hmmm I smell a new thread....sorry to hear that you were ripped off especially by such a "prestigious" company. The fact that so few were fertilized smells fishy to me though
